If things are bad I hope he remembers all the times he said to prepare for a 3 day storm...brother! I don't know how he can sleep at night.

Dinty, can you imagine the after effects of a three day, direct hit hurricane? Look what Mitch did to Honduras!

So, what does this guy mean by three day storm? That's one hell of a storm. If an ice storm lasted three days the army wouldn't even be moving. You'd have people buried alive, locked into their homes and frozen to death.

If a three day ice storm hit every city in the US at once it would take **years** to rebuild it all. There wouldn't be one power line left standing, not one train running, not one road passable through the maze of twisted wreckage.

Now if he means a storm whose effects only take three days to overcome, that is a horse of a different color - and a point that I don't expect him to elucidate any time soon.

All I can say is that if you haven't lived through a direct hit hurricane that lasted a mere few hours, or an ice storm, then you don't get the lyrics to, "When the Levee Breaks", and it's no wonder you feel fine.

I think some people in such positions will commit suicide during the year of 2000. Seriously.

A 3-day storm is usually not a big deal if every other place has all it's infrastructure in place, but a 3-day storm that hits the whole world at the same time is a little more interesting.

I serious doubt it -- this ain't Japan, after all. No Oriental face-saving gestures are in the cards for those bullshiting jerks who have no feelings of guilt. Only way they'll get theirs is if its given to them by someone else.

Please make sure and print his remarks.

You may be asked to be a juror at the tribunal. :-(
