As a client of the GA-u program, DSHS, I was recently terminated. When I asked why I was given WAC codes, following up on them I learned that there was very strong evidence ( my social worker admitted to me in front of her supervisor that she wasn't verifying information) that the case had been mistakenly terminated, we (the super, and administrator and myself) ran the process three times all three times the answer showed that they had TERMINATED WITHOUT CAUSE, however instead of re-instating my claim I was ejected from the office and for two days thrown out of every other office in the bldg, assualted by the gaurd and threatned by various heads of dept's, I can't get my file, I want the benifits that I paid taxes f

One of the difficulties in evaluating allegations of this sort is that you have a first amendment right to state the above, but the DSHS cannot revela any of the information on YOU covered by privacy laws to tell their side. That being the case, your best option would seem to be to either use their appeals process, get yourself a lawyer, or contact your state legislators. Not too much a website devoted to a discussion on tax issues is going to be able to help you, I fear.
