merek mura,

Ed Yardini has been the only economist that hasn't been preaching a BITR - pretty impressive that Deustch hasn't gagged him... The report was more hard hiting than usual. They even threw in Gartners poll that 67% of American's would withdrawl $$$$ a few days before CDC. Can you say Fractional reserve banking!!! Yardini also talked about the domino effect and that if a 100% compliant bank in the U.S. transacted with a non compliant bank over seas, that it could take weeks if not months to get the transaction sorted out.

Fox's report on Monday was a JOKE - Planes won't fall from the sky & interviews with doomsday survivalists. I thought Ko-skin-em had produced it!!! I was shocked that last nights segmant wasn't more of the same.

Lets see what Fox has for the Sheeple tonight.

I think that DB is playing it smart. If there is only a BITR, they can always dismiss Yardeni as a crackpot, saying they only kept him on because of his past contributions. If TSHTF big time, they can say, "see, we're the only, courageous bank to tell the truth".

A safe bet, eh?
