WATER FILTRATION PLANT EXPLODES NEAR HUNTINGTON SOME 800 RESIDENTS ARE WITHOUT WATER, AFTER AN EXPLOSION AT A WATER FILTRATION PLANT. IT HAPPENED IN AN AREA KNOWN AS NORWOOD. THOSE WITHOUT WATER INCLUDE RESIDENTS OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX AND A NURSING HOME. IT'S NOT KNOWN WHAT CAUSED THE BLAST. AUTHORITIES SAY IT COULD BE A FEW DAYS BEFORE WATER IS RESTORED.

Just wondering if this might be y2k problem... What kind of problems might cause such a explosion?
