OT:The Troll Off Spray Seems To Be Working Over-Time Today

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

It seems as though, the closer we get to the new year, the more shrill the trolls get. What a busy day for the non-sensical posters as well as the syops.

I have to admit, the sun will still shine, grass will grow and the laws of gravity will continue for the most part. I guess that makes me a "polly".

Of course the troll doomers are pretty funny too-"When will I know there is Martial Law?" I guess you will know when there is a tank parked on your lawn.

Its the last few days. Y2k, in my opinion, will more in likely unfold slowly and deliberately. Preparations by those who chose to prepare have been completed. The government has succeeded in preventing public panic. Which I must admit, is a good thing.

Now it is time to sit back, enjoy the holidays and see what if anything unfolds in the coming days and weeks of the new year.

Think of it, for those that have made even modest preparation, y2k is a non-event (providing of course one doesn't lose their job in the outcome).

Because if you have prepared, then who cares about y2k? You have got what you need to carry you through. You have saved some of the abundant harvest in lieu of hard times. You have learned things that have been forgotten for the most part...how to provide for your survival and well being.

Preparing for y2k was not about fear. It was about a rational solution to a proposed problem. Pretty much all the material folks have gathered has dual-purpose usage. Disasters happen all the time. For the next one, there will be many folks who will not have to depend Red Cross shelters because they had the forethought to prepare for the future.

Because of y2k, many folks through the internet, have been awakened to their government's actions. They have begun to question the answers their elected leaders give them. That can only lead to good.

So relax now, enjoy the fruits of your harvest and know that no matter what happens it can be taken in stride.

Don't take all this so much in stride. I think we ought to get real uptight, nervous, anxious, and downright scared and afraid. Matter-of-fact, I can hardly wait!!

BTW, I didn't do all this prepping for Y2K. I would have stopped with Y2K preps about $15,000 ago. Since then it's been for Nuclear, Biological, first half of the Tribulation or whatever else SOON to hit us..
