What bothers me most is her persistence in addressing us all in her salutation as her "dear colleagues". Considering the level of sheer hostility she has now generated on this forum, it's quite revealing. Lady, I am not your colleague. Methinks the "lady" doth protest too much. I advise you find a board of "colleagues" who agree with your perception of reality. Some free advice: read all of Book of Proverbs but esp. CH. 31 on the virtuous woman and prepping. God himself, loves a well stocked and well provided home. As for returning your unopened items for some of Caesar's bloody shillings? Menards, Lowes and Home Depot here in the midwest will not accept returns for Y2K related items. For those out there actually contemplating her selfish suggestions, I would urge you to consider a donation of your stocks to the food pantry, your generator to the local battered women's or pet shelter if the grid stays up and you feel it was all just wasted expense. Not very likely. And lady, pray that the doorway you go to begging for mercy was a reader of this forum and prepped accordingly. God shall reveal you to us.

I find sirs, it a little ironic to be placed in this position. But gentlemen, I opose your elitest concept of what is right and proper.

While, so far I have disagreed with every word the Lady (?) has posted gentlemen. I WILL defend to the death her right to express those ideas.

Y2K Pro was and is a different proposition, in that he purposely spammed, duplicated posts in a effort to in order to disrupt this forum.

Would I read the entireity of one of her posting? Probably not. Since the first two or three of them that I read showed that she had little going for her other than she had a mouth and acess to the internet and a key board.

Millions of Americans have laid their lives down sirs, so that you, I and yes, fools as her, can say with out fear what is in our minds and hearts.

I used to frequent the Cowles forum...Then when Rick Cowles stated that there WOULD NOT be any problems with Nuclear power generatons complexes. And that he would delete any postings of such inquiry. And at that point he placed his forum behind a pass word set up..I did not request the pass word. I do not think that I have to elaborate as to why I didn't. But then; I just might have to.

To close one's mind is to cease learning, and in time to cease living. Mr. Cowles is reconized as an "expert" on nuclear power. But gentlemen, since he neither sets at God's right hand, nor does he have a time machine to visit the future. He CANNOT predict with utter certainity that there will not be problems. And any construct by man, who is flawed, cannot be perfect! There forth that construct has flaws also. And therefore it can fail!!! To think otherwise is not only foolish, but hall marks insanity.

It is and has been ironic. This forum has had the nessary experts (well! People with the experience anyway, in their various feilds) to indeed have constructed a true senerio of just what; and what might not fail in the weeks ahead. The programmers, designing aritects, maintance engineers, and the people who actually constructed the physical infrastructure. But did we all get togeather to examine what we all collectively did to make that power generation station work? NOOooooo!! We did not!

Now the time for doing this is gone! And I; because of my part in errecting this creature that is going to be borned, have become more gloomyer than infomagic! Why? You most certainly may ask..But I don't think I have to answear. Go look at c.s.y2k..It is frightening to realize that the posters there are by and large the same people who are trying to fix the soft ware.

And yet! You two gentlemen gloat over the censoring of one dissenting voice, who would leave if ignored. I am both frightened and apalled! Is there no intelligence left?
