Stick lights as 12 hour lighting option

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread

Found this idea. For a light-weight, disposable light source: Use the plastic stick lights, you know, the ones with a colored liquid inside, that glow when you bend them. They often yell them at outdoor events, for $1 or so, as sticks or necklaces.....

You might find them in sporting goods, outdoors stores, novelty stores....

They come in 6, 8 and 12 hour length use.

I don't recall the name of the firm, but you can call 970 259 l822 and get light sticks. They sell 2l for $20 and have a choice of times and colors.
