I've seen some pretty strang things emanating from this guy's site lately, can anyone give more info on just who he is and where he is coming from? A credibilty rating would be nice, thanks!

I have no idea what Frith's credibility rating is on TB2000 -- but he does post dozens of otherwise hard to find docs -- real documents, authentic documents -- in PDF and html. Those documents speak for themselves. I posted a thread a day or two ago referencing his posting of memos from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Marines, dealing with DOD Y2K readiness postures -- didn't even get a yawn around here. Seems the gameplan here is to bitch and moan about rmormongering and sources lacking credibility for secondhand reports, and then totally ignore the firsthand ones.

That document about the marines transition orders was posted on TB2K back in October. It is old news, maybe that is the reason for the yawns.

Franklin first orignated in the Y2k arena after he was hired as a consultant to assist with emergency management by the State of Michigan. I don't know his actual background, but the Michigan position put him in place to see the Feds in action (FEMA, FBI, etc.) giving presentations to the state on what they were expected to do. The more he saw and heard, the more concerned he became about where we are headed. So, obviously, he put together a web site to get the word out, via official documents. Many of the people who are in state emergency management organizations have access to a lot of information and some are passing it along to the public. Others are not.

rummy,

Several months ago I had a question about an article posted on Franklin's website that was being discussed here. I e-mailed Mr. Frith (his address is on his website), sent him the link to the TB2000 thread and asked if he would comment on it. Much to his credit, he followed the link, posted a very thoughtful reply on the thread, and offered to answer any further questions anyone might have. You might try writing him with your questions, he seems very gracious.
