y2k compliance has cost #200 mill a survey from the Loc Gov Users Ass has found...this represents a significant figure for local authorities....the expense will also be measured in lost dev. opportunities...42% of authorities said they had no dev. strategy for the new century (so what else is new)... 33% said they had not discussed the Euro (hurrah).... 17% did not determine user satisfaction (what only 17%)....20% of projects suffered more than a years delay (well this is the public sector)
