Is it just me, or has the media slightly dropped the ball on the y2k issue???

To All--

Is it just me, or is trashing Mike Adams just plain dumb.

It is the extrodinarily hard work of he, and Gary North, Ed Yourdon, Jim Lord, and many others, EVEN IN THE FACE OF UNENDING RIDICULE BY THE ENTIRE NATIONAL MEDIA, that has even led to the *modicum* of preparedness that this country has. They did the job that the very elite, very wealthy-owned news organizations *refused* to do!

They deserve a goddamned medal, *NOT* our ridicule.

By the way, Cherri, Mike has pledged his revenues to the Red Cross, for goodness sake. Do you really think he even makes .05% of what some start-up dot com IPO makes in one just one day simply by receiving co-op dollars from the survival foods outfits he does business with.

The man deserves a medal.

Get yourself on a better lithium regimen, or maybe ritalin. Whatever you're on now is not working.

In retrospect--shouldn't have started a whole thread. Sorry, it just seemed to stupid not to deserve a whole...

well, just mentally add my note to the bottom of the thread previous, along with a good number of very good responses.

One thing we might consider is some kind of "Open Letter" of thanks. Perhaps once this is all finished we could all chip in some of our gold-through-the-roof-cashed-in money to buy some add space in a national media outlet??

Just a thought.

Here's hoping.

sean, I agree. Adams hasn't been perfect by any means, but he's done a remarkable job at digging up lots of Y2k truths.

I don't know him from Adam [g], but I think his heart's in the right place. While his journalistic methods are unorthodox at times, he has done much more than any other media outlet to expose the "dark side" of Y2k.

Clearly, all is not as the mainstream press and press releases would have us believe. Adams has been a steady beacon in the dense fog of Y2k reporting.

I wish him well in his final "blitz", and thank him for all of his efforts.

I have 103 sites bookmarked,54 of them are Y2K related. Y2knewswire was one of my earlier additions.I also have a lot of mechanics tools at home. When I need a hammer I'm glad it's there, but I realise it's only one tool in my toolbox.I'm not going to complain that a hammer won't turn a bolt, nor am I going to complain that Y2knewswire has been the perfect Y2K tool for my decision making. It is one of many, and more infomative than a lot of others. Many Thanks to Mike Adams, for at least keeping us up to date!! on de rock
