Thank you for swiftly deleting the topics posted by the terrorists trying to disrupt the board today. Your diligence is appreciated.

There were terrorists on the board today?

Gutlessness personified. Actual postings presented to give proof that there are some...no, many...that shoot your argument in the foot with their own vested interests. This was an opportunity to illustrate your disgust for such sentiments, as well. There is no explanation which can justify such an incredible act of cowardice.

Bad Company,

Y2K Pro, under any name, is banned from this bboard for spamming and participation in dos attacks.

Yeah, somebody repeatedly tried posting messages saying most of us on this forum are racists. I am NOT a racist so whoever that joker was has already done a lot of prejudging himself.

-- (peace@to.all), December 08, 1999.

Not all of us feel that way, Bad Company. Most of us don't, in fact. Y2k Pro and his/her/its ilk wants to smear us by implying that all of us want massive death, destruction, etc. If you can't see that, then you obviously have limited mental abilities. The vast majority of us hope that we are wrong about what we think could happen. I certainly hope that I am wrong.

Diane, you miss the point. While I wasn't around for what incidents led to Y2KPro's dismissal from this site and thus will reserve comment on any sysop's decisions therein, the opportunity was there to make an admission that some commentaries have been made on this forum (like any forum on the web) which detract from the y2k debate. While both camps have their pluses and minuses....and truthfully can learn from each other, even at this late date....there is an element that sways readers with commentaries such as those posted on 'Racist Spotters' message.

That was the point.

I would just wonder if the authors of those individual postings have faced banishment, as well.

End of rant.

Yeah, Cherri. I heard that they were from SEATTLE!!

Bad Company,

Both sides can learn from each other???? I am trying to learn about Y2K and what will happen and how to prepare. So far I have learned a lot about preparing. Y2K? The only facts are that no one knows.

The pollys and trolls waste my time. I'll open with 60 with this hand.

B.C.,

Appearantly you have no idea what the purpose of this forum is supposed to be. You have made it obvious that you have a false concept of it's purpose. This forum is NOT a "debate" forum. Get over it.

Sorry to disappoint you, but with just three weeks left till we get an answer to the big question, you are not going to make a difference nor are you going to be some kind of hero which saves the masses from their misguided beliefs.

You might want to consider spending your time elsewhere. Of course you won't do that will you? After all, it's not part of your intentions, is it?
