Milwaukee food bank to sell Y2k "survival pack"

I caught this on a local radio station news broadcast (WTMJ-AM 620 for those in Brew City), and haven't found any mention of it online.

A local food pantry is selling (for $30) a "Y2k survival package" consisting of, among other things, peanut butter and jelly, bottled water, paper plates, and a few other items. "Enough to get you through the weekend", was how it was characterized.

All presented as though this was a public service for all those procrastinators. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry.

The answer is: Laugh. Then cry. Then get thy butt to Sam's for another run.
