Crocodile, Kavango River

Crocodile on the Kavango river. I don't know the species (as you can see, I'm not too good with biology).

This is another of my, "Let's see how narrow I can push the depth of field, and still get a good shot" photos.

Techie detail: EOS 1N, 70-200L @ f/2.8 x ~160mm, taken with SensiaII.

Too narrow of DOF if you ask me. The front of his snout being soft is too distracting. The grass cutting across the snout is also a problem. It tends to accentuate the fact that the nose is soft.

I feel the depth of field is too shallow. Also, the right eye is not in sharp. It appears the center of focus is between the eyes and the nostrils.
