From Joe Lockhart's Press Conference...what do you make of it?

This exchange appears at the beginning of the conference. Any guesses as to what Joe is referring to?

Q Is the President giving an interview today or tomorrow?

MR. LOCKHART: He's got a couple of things that are long-term. I don't expect you'll see them for several weeks.

Q Long-term?

MR. LOCKHART: Yes, so you shouldn't expect a transcript. Sort of beginning of some year-end stuff.

Q Is there a date for the State of the Union?
MR. LOCKHART: No. Okay. I think there is one, but I'm being told I can't announce it.

Hmmm, got to be a big project.

Usually doesn't sequester himself for the State of the Union until January and then only for a brief time, a day or less.

Long-term, several weeks...nah couldn't be y2k, that's already fixed......I've got it, Christmas shopping. Yea, that's the ticket.

So, what do you all want for Christmas, Bill's buying.

Maybe it'll just have to be a surprise.

I think I'll go for an extended vacation in Mexico.
