Is Argentina covering up Y2K Tests with Terrorism?

We received this on our forum (Yahoo) from a computer programmer in Buenos Aires. He has been a regular poster until recently... Remember...there are 12 million people in Buenos Aires...

The News from Argentina

The news: POWER: This week there were two really big electric outages in this country. Millions of households, more than a half dozen provinces were affected by them.

The electric transport private company claims that unidentified "saboteaurs" have cut the wires that hold V shaped towers in position. But there is no terrorist action nor group in this country from about 1980, save for the bombing of the Israel Embassy and a Jew association.

Today was the last day for Y2K electric tests. The tests, the company says, can not be made now, with this "electric emergency".

BANKS: Banks advise people who own 30 days fixed term deposits due on these days to renew them for 40 days, not for 30, "to avoid end of year related aglomerations in banks"

CREDIT CARDS: Gas stations and supermarkets will not accept them as from next week. Commercial reasons are given for this.

SEWEAGE: This is not public news, it is inside information: the top Y2K concern for safety people in goverment is Buenos Aires system of seweage. It could function for only five days in case of lacking of electric power.

So, you're saying the Argentine squirrels aren't mercenaries? That they really believe in what they are doing?
