I couldn't resist.... This is a showshoe hare (summer coat). Taken with a Pentax ZX-5, FA*300mm F4.5 lens, monopod, and Kodak Elite Chrome 100 Extra Color at dusk in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, July 1999.

I like the green grass and overal sharpness. I love that eye from behind the grass, the "alarm position" and the fact that it's (apparently) looking into the camera.

Great picture. I might crop in just a bit tighter though. On the left the picture could be cropped right up to the tall plant the hare is hiding behind, and then crop a bit tighter on the left as well.
