During my usual 10 hour work day, I stay away from lurking this forum. (Big Brother is watching)

However, I scan the Java News, AP Wire , and News Hub very often. There have been frequent posts on these sites relating to Y2K. There was a good one today from a stock market analyst. But, from my location, all I can do is read them and watch them disappear. Todays article was in the finance area of Java News and the title did not refer to Y2K in any way. However the author was giving his educated (I hope) opinion on the value of backing off from stocks and investing in gold. (Which he admitted ,that in the past, he did not see the value in gold and is now changing his mind.) He referenced Y2K and the effect he expected it to have on the market very soon.

There have been other articles in the news which have never appeared here. Perhaps someone with free (unmonitored) time could check out these areas from time to time. I did print out the article (left it at work ;-( and if anyone wishes, I can post the name, date, place tomorrow after 7PM..
