Because France is a highly centralized country it could come to a halt. Civil servants (the highest concentration in the world) wages, pensions and Social Security benefits would be paid with huge delays if at all, while taxes would be hard to collect."

Why does it not surprise me?

I couldn't find anything about this in the regular news sources.

That doesn't surprise me much either. Getting information like this out of France is going to be like pulling teeth.

Anyway, we definitely need follow-ups if they become available.
