I am looking for a few key dimensions of HO scale model steam locomotives in order to locate suitible candidates for conversion to ACL or SAL locomotives. I am hoping some of our more active modelers or someone with access to a well stocked hobby shop might be able to provide the following dimensions.

Bachman 2-8-0: Smokebox/boiler diameter and distances between driving wheel centers.

Model Power "Old Timer" 4-6-0/2-8-0: Smokebox/boiler diameter (Classic Baldwin boiler!)

Model Die Casting "Old Timer" 2-8-0: Smokebox/boiler diameter
