Chernobyl reactor starts up again

When you are working next door to a blob of concrete and steel that is leaching radioactive isotopes into the groundwater, why would you care about remediation. Note that the reactor has been shutdown for months, the accident was years ago. They have been operating this reactor because of absolute necessity during the winter.

Ukraine is nuked toast.
