Did you all read the post of the guy who said he was really beginning to grasp the Iraq oil loss? He was describing his pre-plans made before that news about picking up family at an airport etc?

I'm having the same entrenching "Now do you get it?"

I had planned at this point I was just going to go to the local grocery store for trivial daily living purchases until it was no longer possible to do so. I had gone down to that store yesterday and came across hyperinflation on some items, and other items seemingly to have vanished off the face of the earth. (A variable that impacted my plans on short notice.)

I concluded I'd have to commute to another community for that light daily living plan.

As the gas prices go up? What about other variables impacting those gas prices?

So on potentially 3 dollars a gallon in SoCA I am going to commute to another community and use its grocery store.

I am starting to see the Oreo cookie effect now. A damned if you do and damned if you don't scenario. One stands as the cream between two cookies squeezing in on oneself.

As we head into the what now is just a month away, all of us are grasping on how best to cope. And we show it.

I participate on Chowchow dog breed groups that is why my handle is "Chowbabe."

I'm going to walk through that particular grocery store in a week. If the hyperinflation still exists I am going to post all the details publically. Not only the store but the names of the brands. That is if there is any point to, I doubt it is signing itself up for closure, and is merely the first showing some of the new common sticker prices.

I went over to another town yesterday to use the Smart & Final, and no one was preparing that I saw. In fact, I think we were about five customers in total. It brought in regular Sterno to sell I noticed.

I'm not finding coping difficult to do at this point. What I feel is a powerful awareness that there isn't any turning back. There aren't second chances. I had already launched my ship not knowing I was doing this coincidentally as the prices were going out into the Twilight Zone. I feel like my boat has pulled just far enough away from the pier that I can't leap back onto the pier in a second thought, the boat continues to pull out, and I'm just so aware the moment of second chances came and went.

Grab what you can if you see it and want it. I had debated about purchasing some professionally made pickled eggs in jars and they no longer exist in my area.

Yeah, gotta work any network means for the truly wanted. Stuff is vanishing like a set of dominoes falling down. How come it's my area so I stand out like a sore thumb sounding unbelievable? I just hate that. It helped to have a witness from L.A. County at least I didn't have to question if I were simply going mad.

Here is something to keep an eye open for I think. You know how we all spot the Fed spin lies? Some of these "The liquor store shelves were bare due to the new computer system" might be half truth and half lie. Truth is the shelves are bare, but the lie might be "computer system," because I'm suspecting the resources are already being pulled for the major areas. In that one case, the post we all read, it really could have been the whole truth, but the possibility of reroutes to those major urban areas is something to keep in my mind.
