This is the second time within a week that I've now witnessed these so-called "chemtrails."

A few days ago we had this happen with a hazy misty/sticky coating of this stuff that resulted in light-headedness and upper-respiratory irritation of all my family here.

Today we have it again. NINE criss-crossing contrails, several East to West and several from N.E. to S.W. in a grid-fashion. But today I got to see the aircraft doing this with the aid of some good Binocs.

One was a white 727-type aircraft with a red tail. I cannot remember from my days near O'hare which carrier (if any) have a solid red tailfin. the other was a DC-9 type-tanker that was flying behind and below the first type at a perpindicular flight path. The 727 was higher, at about 15,000 feet, the DC-9 at about 10,000. Both left exactly the same type of trail, that lingered for 15 minutes and spread-out into cirrus. There were NINE different trails visible dissapearing into zenith at each horizon. They were all sprayed within a 30 minute timeframe.

You could literally play tic tac toe with the patterns they left tonight.

This is really beginning to bug me, because I've been around planes my whole life, and contrails were usually WAAAAAAY up there and dissipated within a minute or two. These are MUCH lower to groundlevel and linger until they spread-out into cirrus clouds that descend in a hazy fog and coat everything.

Just reporting in. I don't know what they are doing, but I don't like it, and can only imagine it can't be good for us.

Contrails: in a good economy, the day before Thanksgiving, with a lot more than average planes in the air at the same time, maybe their flight paths are altered. Just can't imagine there is anything to this contrail stuff.

glad i reread what you said befor i wrote in. i was going to ask if any one has been extremely tired for no apparent reason, and LIGHTHEADED .in the car with a friend the other day i asked her if she ever feels like this and she said she also got a strange tingeling sensation at the top of her head, i knew exactly what she meant.i usually only lurk but i really think there might be something to these chemtrails.Also i do not remember kids being so sick 30 years ago with allergies.i only knew of one kid that had them, now it seems it's so prevelent.Just so scarey to think about that i try not to.i am also starting to believe that the school shootings were orchestrated and that's even scarier but there are just so many coincidences with the timing and similarities. wouldn't you think that it's the kids that have been abused and neglected all thier lives that flip out not the white middle class kid. so now it's your neighborhood, your school, your kid...GIVE US YOUR GUNS,IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. i apologize for rambeling on but once you start to consider the possibilities it's really, well, scarey and what can we possibly do about it? I hope Liberty has a plan.

As any idiot knows, contrails are formed over 25,000 ft and vanish within 45 seconds. None of this has to do with the holiday. As the man said, the chemtrails were only present on two days - I guess the other days it was just birds up there and the planes over america grounded?

Tashaminga needs to now enter our list as govt stooges. And so it is.

I'm trying to keep an open mind about the chemtrail business, but it's so darn easy to get caught up in the conspiracy theory type discussions. Today as I was driving on the highway I did notice these "trails" in the sky, but have no way of telling what the altitude was. I heard the weather report and the man indicated there were cirrus clouds today- probably a fact. The reason I'm a little suspicious is because of something that happened this spring. I have lots of flowering shrubs; rhododendrons, azaelas. mountain laurel, viburnum, etc. As spring changed to summer, I was very busy and did not get close to the bushes for awhile, but had noticed that the flowers had turned brown but had not fallen off like they usually do. When I had time to pick the dead flowers off, there was a very weird sticky substance covering each one which made it very difficult to remove. At about the same time I read about a truck driver who was driving down an interstate near me who had noticed the chemtrails and tiny drops of something on his windows. After reading that I noticed that my windshield was also covered with something that didn't come off in the rain. Strange? Yes. What am I insinuating? Who knows. I'm just relating these incidents I've seen. Mary

Hi all!

This subject is REALLY easy to get carried away with...but I feel compelled to share my thoughts--feel free to flame away!

1. I recommend reading J.R. Nyquist's column THE FINAL PHASE to all here, as it provides a thought (and action) provoking viewpoint on the state of the world.

2. As strange as this whole chemtrails controversy is, that does not mean that they aren't real.

3. You will likely never find the whole truth. Educate yourselves in detail on this matter, and use reason to guide your conclusions. Talk with other people, make yourself accountable for what you think. That prevents you from leaping to wild conclusions.

4. Assuming chemtrails are false, you must ask yourself what it is that you are seeing.

5. Assuming chemtrails are true, you must ask yourself what is really going on and WHY?

I'm going to put points one and five together now.

In the opinion of some very smart people (whom I'm proud to call my friends) the US gov't is very worried about terrorism. The poor man's nuke is a chemical or biological weapon--a la Mr. Hussein and company...

You feel sick. Is it a poison or an innoculation? Same side effect either way. I live in central BC, Canada--nothing going on up here to date. If the symptoms go away after a short time (up to a week) you MIGHT have been innoculated from a pathogen.

SO WHAT KURT? WHAT'S YOUR POINT?

Your president has shown himself to be, among other things, a traitor to your constitution, leaving your defences sorely degraded and your families vulnerable to attack. Despite new weapons upgrades, the stockpile of Russian nuclear weapons is degrading to a critical point within the next 2 years or so. On top of that, the communist powers will go through the rollover BEFORE the Western Nations-leaving them, for a short time, degraded while we are not.

If I were a communist, I'd see the next month as the opportunity of a lifetime to clobber the Capitalist Pigs, before my defences were degraded.

Just a thought for you all to consider... maybe we're being set up on a grand scale for a pre-emptive strike with weapons of mass destruction.

Then again, maybe not.

Even I draw the line at all these contrail stories.

If so many people have experienced first-hand this "sticky fog" that rains on everything, then why has NOT ONE person thought to take a sample to a university, or private, lab (NOT a government agency or lab) and have it analyzed?

That doesn't sound too difficult, now, does it?

I'm more interested in exactly WHAT aircraft the USAF is using as a successor to the SR-71 BLACKBIRD. That bird was built with EARLY 1960'S technology, so just imagine what they must have now.

I think the USAF purposely "shows off" their Stealth Fighter"(more OLD technology) to draw any questions away from other issues.

I also thought these "chemtrail" stories were some kind of Art Bell Bunk. I had seen them at a distance this late Summer and paid them no mind....until last week when these things were right above my town, and I noticed how LOW to the ground these were. They weren't your normal contrails because they didn't dissipate at all, but spread-out like a cirrus cloud on a day when it was clear and in the '70's here.

Got lightheaded and fuzzy, started coughing and wheezing as did everyone in the family here as well as my neighbors.

Today there were MANY more of these leaving an obvious grid pattern above us.

Look, we're on no flight path out here, the traffic we get from Ft. Campbell is mainly C-130 and Huey/Apache traffic doing refuelling excercizes. No one out here can remember seeing FIVE aircraft leaving trails at ONE TIME over ONE area out here.

Tonight I've got more of that sticky misted tree-sap like crap on my windshield, and no - I know of no labs out here unless I want to drive for three hours to find one in Nashville.

I got no clue as to what this stuff is, why it is being sprayed and whether it's benevolent or harmful. But with the guy we got running the show in this country  I'm going to assume it's the latter, because he only does what's best for himself, and not the rest of us.

Being named number two in the "Century's Most Evil Person" poll can't be reassuring to him if he wants that coveted third term. unless there's a BIG distraction from the Constitution....and I don't mean Monica.

INVAR, I can't help but think that you must live very near to me. Today I sat in my car for about 30 min. watching jets weave contrails described in just the same manner as you described. I've been aware of chemtrails since I ran across the subject on Art Bells' site and began to be on the lookout for them. I went to the link provided on his site and looked at lots of pictures; the picture featured on the first page of his site was from the city I live in! Most of the chemtrails I see around here are north of the city running mainly east-west. I figure this would put them above the two main cities in this state. hmmmmmmmmm If you think it is hard to talk to someone about Y2K, try talking to them about chemtrails instead. It will make you grateful to for the responses you get regarding Y2K! Oh yeah, my allergies have kicked into high gear tonight, and the friends I visited tonight both think they are coming down with upper respitory infections because they are both coughing, headaches, sinus pressure. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We've had chemtrails in Northern California (CHico, Butte County) since last Spring. THe last few weeks, almost every day. I haven' seen a tic-tac-toe yet, but some Xs and many parallel sets running north south. Lingering for hours, spreading out. Just Tuesday they overcast the entire sky.

Upper respiratory problems with coworkers, and I've got something, don't know if it is cause/effect or not. Definitely something going on. But we all know our gov't only wants the best for us.

I have noticed these unusually thick,low contrails in my area - NE.PA.- for 4/5 months now. Today - and actually for this entire past week - I have not seen any. NONE! I know that they were not part of normal air traffic patterns in this area. I have a FOF story for you about this. My friend - a y2k skeptic - sent a chemtrail website which I sent to him, to a guy he works with - an IT professional and formerly in the armed services. This guy e-mailed my friend thusly ( I'm paraphrasing with some of this ) after looking at this website : These are the contrails of multi-engined, heavy-lift C-5 Galaxy transport planes. Critical government i.e. DOD technical and support personnel and materiel are being re-deployed from heavily populated urban areas on the east coast to former FEMA re-location centers in W.Va. and KEN.in anticipation of the "generalized panic" that will occur when there are infrastructer failures in those east coast areas. He noted that these are plans that have been in place since the beginning of the cold war as part of the response plans to a nuclear attack. Of course this doesn't do much for explaining why these contrails are seen all over the country but this explanation sounds plausible to me somehow ( maybe simply because my friend is pretty down-to-earth and most of the people he hangs around with at work are to ).

INVAR: I haven't had any solid droppings, here, thank goodness, but will try the sheet of paper idea, as soon as I can find a lab to take it to. Will Thomas reports on such an attempt. As I recall, the lab agreed to do the work and then backed out. Mr. Thomas had the impression that someone had gotten to them. I suppose that if enough of us were taking samples in, eventually some lab would do the work.

Gawd!!! I highly suspect that these CHEMTRAILS are the cause of my frequent wet memes, resulting in constantly having to change the sheets, causing the castle staff to chatter constantly in muffled tones regarding the SOURCE of the errant droplets.

Is there a specific laboratory with the expertise to conduct a thorough analysis that I could consult with? Needless to say, the laboratory personnel would need to be discrete about this delicate matter.
