Rep. Ruth Fisher, co-chair of the Transportation committee was quoted saying, "If I-695 passes, I will resign the next day." Did she keep her promise?

Email her, I did.

Her email: fisher_ru@leg.wa.gov

Just aks her the simple question: So, are you gonna do it???

Ruth Fisher - I will resign. George Nethercutt - I will serve only two terms. Bill Clinton - I did not have sex with that woman. George Bush - Read my lips I will not raise taxes.

What and who can you believe? Liars? She should do the honorable thing and resign.

That would certainly be more honorable than having sex with Bill Clinton.

Rep Fisher has probably not had sex with der Schlickmeister. She should not necessarily resign her house seat. But maybe she should resign from the House Ethics Board. Is failure to keep your word an ethics violation? It was in the corporation where I last worked!

No. Not even lying under oath is a big deal anymore. They tried to oust Ms. Pearsall-Stipek for that in Tacoma (repeatedly signed affidavits claiming that she'd graduated from a college when she hadn't). Judge wouldn't allow a recall petition, said it was no big deal.

This is probably not the first lie out of Ruthy's mouth. You get what you vote for. If I were in her district I'd promise to vote for her using her's and Bill Clinton's definition of promise out of their special dictionary.
