FEMA donates money to United Way

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

There is a small article in my local newspaper tonight that says The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded the (names the city) United Way $132,437 for nonprofit food pantries, kitchens or shelters. Local applications for the money are due at United way by Dec. 13. Is this normal for them to do this? We have no issues going on and haven't had a natural disaster since a tornado came through in 1986. Anyone want to speculate why they would donate money to my local United Way?

Hi Vern, thanks for the post. Please name the city so that we can check it out and maybe give some meaningful feedback. It's OK, they won't contrail you just for that. Thanks!

Hey Colin, I have no issue with naming the city. It is Youngstown, Ohio, home of the great congressman Jim Traficant. I just thought it was irrelevant for the post. We've already been chemtrailed over the last several weeks so that isn't an issue either. Come to think of it, CHEMTRAILS would be a cool way for KENNY to die in a future episode of South Park!...lol
