"Hi Everyone,

I just heard on the radio (here in Denver) that Pres. Clinton isn't allowing Chelsey to go to Pasadena to see Standford play in the Rose Bowl over the New Year. He stated that he wanted everyone to be together "just in case something happens". I find it amazing that he is telling all of us that everything is fine and dandy so go ahead and travel and do things as you normally would, but yet he doesn't want any of his family traveling at that time. Has anyone else heard about this?"

If anyone can find a link, please post it.

Well, taking into account her front and center seat, her entourage and security people's seats, and the absence of dozens of Secret Serpent Agents standing around and blocking the view, we might get to enjoy the game!

Hell, Lookit Candidate Sen. John McCain...According to the new issue of 'Time' he's planning on spending the rollover with his family in a cabin isolated in the "foothills of Arizona" What do ya thinka that? After all, McCain has the "been there done that, was tortured by the lil' bastards" T-Shirt in spades. If there is one man I'd take my e-Vac cue from It'd have to be him...

If anyone can confirm this story, please post a link.

If true, rather revealing, non?

snooze,

I am shocked! Are you suggesting that our beloved leader would pound the podium, point his finger at us, and tell a bald-faced lie? Shocking!!!

billy-boy

I met John McCain last week. He was in town at a book signing over in Atlantic Beach. Definitely a good candidate. Ya gotta admire the man for what he went through. Don't know if he has my vote yet, but he is a man's man for sure! A real American hero.

1. Who said Stanford was playing in the Rose Bowl?

As far as I'm aware, the U of W Huskies are still in the cat-bird seat.

2. Why would Clinton announce such a command to the media?

Sounds like a lot of hooey to me.

McCain was calling for ground troops in the illegal adventure in Kosovo. He is one of the global elitist behind the takeover by NATO to get control of the Trepca mineral mines, which are the richest in the world, with the gold mines in East Timor right behind. It's this kind of behavior that keeps the rest of the world pissed off at America, which in turn keeps us in a constant crises mode, so if you want more of the same, vote for him. Which, come to think of it is a total joke, because it's already decided by the same group that Bush is next. BTW, only half of Bush's foreign relations team chose to be identified for a Wash Post article. Hello?

Randers,

Stanford is playing in the Rose Bowl. They finished with a 7-1 Pac-10 record (losing only to Washington), while Washington had a 6-2 Pac-10 record (with losses to Arizona and UCLA). Washington is playing in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

Alright guys it was a 90 second meeting. Sounds like I need to do more research on him. We just happen to be in the neighborhood doing some shopping and saw all the hoopla. He really did seem like a nice guy. Still, ya gotta have some respect for him for what he went through.

BTW - HOW 'BOUT THEM NOLES!!!!! Yall realize they play REAL football down here in the south. See ya at the National Championship......:-)
