Hi Laura,

It's fun to be a visionary, a futurist, being of the cutting-edge of trends. Let the kids have a good time while they can. How would a discussion of Y2K reality fit into all of this deep thinking? Will our telephony function? Telework? Will we have work at all in 20th century terms? Are all those servers and networks compliant? The new Dell server at my girlfriend's office wasn't? Are they the only office with Dell servers?

By the way, you asked on a previous thread about my credentials regardng my comments about the groupthink present in the oil meeting you transcribed. Since Y2K has never happened before, there are no "experts" really. Many people on this forum ARE the experts because they've done the homework that's crucial to GIing and recognizing spin, lies, and disinformation. For the most part, that's all the average Joe has gotten.

I was a programmer/analyst formerly for five years and have done almost two years of daily research reading everything I canb find on the topic, gone to meetings, community presentations, etc. Get ready for life changes is my conclusion. Actually my perceptions haven't changed at all since I first came upon Gary North website.

Good Luck if you attempt to inject some reality into this good time. You'll need it.

K.

You know I can't tell you that. I told you before it is by invitation only. Besides, I'd rather not discuss this matter any further. I asked Diane to delete this post, but she said she can't because she's busy with trolls, spammers, and free speech issues. I asked her to delete this because a guy told me in chat last night that I give pedestrian responses. I guess there are people who expect me to spend my entire life at the computer writing insightful responses instead of politely thanking them. Well, that's not gonna happen. I will never host a post again.

I'm pissed, and I'm going back to being a bitch with a bad attitude.
