67II TTL Flash Metering with LS Lenses and Metz SCA Flash

Two TTL flash metering questions re. the 67II:

1. Does TTL flash metering work with the 165/f4 LS lens? It's not clear to me whether you can get an auto fill-flash with a LS lens if the lens shutter doesn't have the multi-pin synch connector. The lens shutter on the 165 LS only has a PC terminal, not the 4/5-pin TTL connector.

2. Does Metz offer an SCA module for 67 bodies? Their web page shows one for the 645 and a bunch of Pentax 35mm bodies, but doesn't list the 67's.

I don't believe it will be posible to TTL meter flash exposures with the LS lens. The LS lens triggers the flash through it's own connector while the TTL information is transmitted through the camera's 5 pin connector.

As for module availability, here is my e-mail response from Metz. I specifically asked about connecting an adapter to the camera's 5 pin socket. I didn't want to use the hot shoe handle. They apparently didn't take the time to read the question.

Dear Mr. Bernards, for the connection of Metz 45CL-4 to your camera Pentax 67 II equiped with Pentax grip with hot shoe we recommend to use the adapter SCA372 with cable Sca300A. The mentioned combination featured the following flash functions: -Flash readyness in viewfinder of camera -Automatic flash sync speed -Correct exposure light in viewfinder -TTL-flash control -Automatic flash programmes With best regards
