Is any of this true?

I received the following email. Any one know if any of this is valid?

THE BEST CONGRESS MONEY CAN BUY....

Based on records prior to the summer break:

29 members of Congress have been accused of spousal abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 9 have been accused of writing bad checks 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses 3 have been arrested for assault 71 have credit reports so bad they can't qualify for a credit card 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are current defendants in lawsuits

And, in 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving, but released after they claimed Congressional immunity. What do Politicians and diapers have in common?..... They should both be changed regularly and for the same reason

You forgot about the leader the leader of the bunch.

The one that has beeen impeached, accused of rape on national T.V., sold out to Communist China, deciimated our military so only 8 of 10 divisions are at combat readiness, flown his wife around the world at taxpayer expense for campaign purposes, allowed drug dealers into the White House (shaken hands with and had photos made with them), rented out the Linclon bedroom, held "coffees" in the White House for $100,000 a cup, sicked the I.R.S. on groups that disagree with him.

I could go on, but I think you get the picture. These people are all the same. Once they go to Olympia or D.C. they've gone over to the dark side.

This country doesn't need campaign reform, what it needs is to outlaw lobbiest.

Ed - take away the heating and A.C., maybe then they wont stay in session as long and the people of this country would be better off.
