Lemon trees--what a find!

What a find! Lemon trees in a 16 inch pot for $35. They are about 3 feet tall and full of little baby lemons. A perfect addition to my preps since we add lemon to most everything and plan to eat plenty of freshly caught fish! We've put it in front of the sunniest window (for winter) in the warmest part of our house. I can easily see the price of lemons being greater that $3 each in the BEST of scenerios by February up here (Pacific NW), and possibly not available for any price for years to come. Can you say excellent barter item?

Found at our local Ace Hardware!! They also had little Valencia Orange trees for the same price. Also at Ace were cheap seeds from Territorial and Seeds of Change--many herloom and overwinter varieties! Happy shopping!

Hey Cath! Where? What store? I am in Portland but would drive just about anywhere in the northwest for a real live lemon and territorial seeds! Thanks!!! (Crazy as a fox in the Columbia River Gorge)

Hey Bob-- Check your local Ace Hardware. If they are not carrying and you can't find any of these goodies at your local stores email me and I'll let you know where I am (hint, it's quite a drive from Portland!) Real email--cathtrac@yahoo.com
