I certainly respect the right of everyone to be heard. But when it comes to discussion forums, I do believe that some simple rules and guidelines are entirely in order. NOT to censor, but rather to stop the useless display of arrogance, petty anger and poor judgement like that which we witnessed today. I think this entire protest business is getting out of hand, and is becoming disruptive to our normal flow of news and information. Diane and any of the Sysops have the right to delete wherever they see fit, especially if certain posters have a consistent track record of posts which are antogonistic to the mission statement of this forum. I have been posting for about a year and a half and have never been undeservedly deleted or "lied to."

SYSOPS, I vote to delete all of these slanderous threads which are accusing you of unfairness and lying, so that we can get back to important news and Y2K issues, which is the clearly defined objective of this forum.

Hawk and many others are absolutely correct on this Diane. This YouKnowWho person needed a mother to help him learn about life, not a moderator. I empathise with the sysops's frustration. Please Diane and all other sysops, delete this individual on sight, as much as you wish and have time to do so.
