Why the lawsuits won't matter.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I-695 Thirty Dollar License Tab Initiative : One Thread

Because a little bird has told me that the legislature stands ready to implement 695 individually. As in, make the initiative law by splitting it up.

The effect will be the same as the initiative.

So, like the anti-campaign was a terrific waste of time and money, so shall the court action be. Let's remember, gang, this IS, after all, an election year.

"So, like the anti-campaign was a terrific waste of time and money, so shall the court action be. " I understand that Mikey's union members are upset that the union committed them to funding the fight in court, without member approval. On this RARE occasion, I hope the lawyers suck them dry!

You are correct Mark. Some of the Rank and File ATU Members ARE upset. (yes Mikey, they still talk to me!) First they lose Co- workers, then they have to pay for this challenge. Even if the Union wins in Court, the Rank and File loses. Money.
