Well....is it legal?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I-695 Thirty Dollar License Tab Initiative : One Thread

To whom it may concern,

Now, let's not hear you people crying about the lawsuit filed today. Your friend and leader (since you can't think for yourselves) Timmy knew the lawsuits would come. Thats why he has been on his knees begging for money. At least now we will find out if, under the law, I-695 is legal. But look at the bright side. If it is overturned, you folks can start that revolution you want so bad. And just for the record......I didn't want to see any law suits filed. Not with 58% approval. But just like the fact that it passed, it's not up to me to decide. And we WILL support out union brothers and sisters. Love Mike. : )

Chuck,

Of course he does.....He is a member of the same Union, just in a different Local. Specifically, he is a PAID Union Officer! If we are lucky, the court costs, combined with 30% dues reduction from layoffs, that Local will be bankrupt. I guess I will have to send my check off today for the I-695 Legal Defense Fund. If you haven't already done so, might I suggest you all do the same?

Chuck:

Every law passed by the Legislature or by Initiative, still has to conform to the requirements of the state or federal constitution to be "legal". What part of that was news to you?
