Preparing Long Term Dried Foodsgreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
Friends, please forgive the stupidity. I bought some of the canned, long term foods. Some of these are the dried eggs, the meat flavorings. I do not have a clue on how to prepare them. Don't even ask how/why I was/am so stupid. Only can say that I paid off all credit cards in Jan. I have been refused credit cards since. They tell me they do not consider the "paid" accounts, they look only at the "open" credit card accounts. Also they say I too many credit inquiries. Never mind they were for the two homes/properties I attempted to buy (changed mind about first site), other inquiries were for carpet purchases, refrigerator. Dangest thing I have ever witnessed. All paid credit is I1 and R1. I make good money. Anyway, I can't buy a cook book because you gotta have a credit card. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you

Why not get a debit card and not worry about credit rating and all the bunk...

Go to any search engine and look up - Y2K recipes - There are a lot of sites that have them for dried foods and TVP (meat substitute). Also, go to the bottom of the main screen and check the archives for this site, there is a lot of good stuff there. Good luck - Sammie

If you are going to call somebody stupid, please learn how to use contractions. It is correct to write, "You're" stupid. Not "your" stupid.
