Also, we may be headed for Y2Kflation. Price of things like food and fuel go way up, while the items nobody wants like furnishings, boats, new cars, and real estate plummets.

No they're called the oughts. 1901 was called ought 1, ought 2 and so on. Spelling may be wrong.

It's like you doofusi who should know better still WRITING dates as 11/18/99 or 1/1/00. Is it too much frickin' effort to do it YYYY-MM-DD, e.g. 1999-11-18 or 2000-01-01?

I thought the Y2K problem was fixed, it is about using 2 digit years, isn't it. Am I missing something, or are the one's not using a 4 digit year simply not mission critical ??????
