TB2000 on Nightline..?? Or was it ABC..?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Just saw an advertisment about a upcoming show tonight. They flashed through screens from tonights show really quick. How the goverment is *gasp* loosing power over it's citizen's.

One screen they showed was a bulletin board. I could've sworn that it was TB2000. Looked like it. BUT I only got a view for about a second. So I could be WRONG.

Just a heads up for what it is worth. Keep your eyes open...

If I remember correctly, the government does not have power over its citizens; the citizens are to have reins over the government. Unless I missed something here recently.

Gubmint doesn't like the Internet because we check up on everything they do and criticize the lousy job they are doing. They're going to try to figure out a way to snuff it out, but don't let it happen. We can start a revolution right here on the Internet and put the power back into the hands of the people! If we get enough concerned citizens organized through the Internet we could make the gubmint post all of the bills here for us to place our votes, instead of letting the fatcat lobbyists pay our Congressmen to vote for what they want. YES, we can make it happen!!

You are joking, right?

Imagine a world full of morons like "Y2K Pro" all mindlessly told what to think by the mass media (including who to vote for).

If it wasn't for the internet, I'd be in the dark about Y2K ;).
