I can4t make a VCD with Xing and NTI cdmaker Pro

Hi im startig doing a vcd and i cant include my mpg file encoded by xing and maded in avi by an ati tv player and when i make my video cd in the NTI CD MAKER PRO 95 it says to me that the format of the file doesnt match the video cd 2.0 esecifications? whats that??? and when i put a mpeg file in the vcd the program will convert it to dat file??? or this is another way to make vcds??? if this mpg still be a mpg files when you make you cd can it be played in the playstation vcd player or only in the computer?

Junk that NTI. I tried and tried ! Tech support was not helpful either. Get yourself Adaptec ez cd creator deluze or WinonCD

No, B'cos most of the cd making software cant convert the *.avi file into *.dat or *.mpg format.
