I'm looking for this song. I've only heard it so, i don't know the title or artist. What I remember is that this band had an influence on REM. The chorus of the song goes, "Eney meeney esa meeney..." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not an answer as such but I had (lost to an old friend)a live c.d called These days from the Hammersmith Palais I think where Stipe sings a few lines including the ones you've written in your quest, there was another bit about load boat (I think), I would love to know where this came from as well so please note my e mail and send me answer if there is one, must admit, I thought it was some olde folk song! bye for now Andrew
