Sorry all, It was just a 2 minute blurb. However it was very doomerish. They said that between 2000-15000 schools won't be ready when kids are suppose to return from the winter break. This could lead to higher daycare costs for working folks.

Biggest 25 schools in the country said they are ready however. Mostly schools in rural areas are affected.

Actually, slide #11 of the GAO's September report on 25 large school districts listed the following school systems as reporting that they will not be "Y2K ready" until after November 30th. I could see rural school systems being at greater risk, but some urban school systems are lagging on Y2K as well...
