Guys,

When you are trying to get better at a game you can learn a lot by watching other play the game. This can be done by watching recordings on MARP or taking to the streets and heading down to the local Arcade and watching people play there.

Sometimes however you get to a point in a game that you can't get past and nobody else you know is playing the game or the best recording of it on MARP is yours. How do you improve after that?

I've tried to find a place to discuss Arcade games in the newsgroups with no luck. I've found a couple of web sites that have game faq's and strategy guides but they are very thin on the ground and often specialised to specific games. Where do you guys go when you hit the brick wall in a game?

Oh!, BTW, the games I'm talking about I've already asked about on MARP and have chalked up the 'big donut' in responses.
