The Big Brains that run our MIS dept, have picked Sunday evening to go live with our brandy new "compliant" system. This just happens to be our BIGGEST sale of the year. Me, being the tinfoil that I am, can't wait. I will post the results late sunday evening. Whish us luck!! Oh yeah, we will have a full staff available incase blah,blah,blah, we expect to have few blah,blah, problems.

The AS/400 run went pretty good! A few of the stores lost some registers in werid and wonderful ways , but no big disaster. Our payroll system is another story!!!!!!!!

Yeah, ditto. Our payroll system was converted to 4 digit years in 1998, but it's a basket case even without Y2K. Next year (assuming we have power), I'm going to write a brand new payroll system from scratch (because the county doesn't want to spend the money to buy one. *sigh*).
