What causes a mouse to freeze or lock-up? And any suggestions on how to fix?

Did you know that mice get dirty? You can clean a mouse by taking out the ball, I know it sounds weird but its true.. After taking out the ball you will notice rollers inside the mouse use a Q-tip and alcohol to clean it. If it is really nasty you might have to use a sharp object... finger nails work well... but that is gross... I do it.. Be careful you can hurt the rollers if you do it to hard..
