I think being jaded, tired, sick of Y2K is a good sign that you have given preperation your all, you have thought it through as best as you can, give yourself an A.

On the other hand, if you feel fresh, spritely, full of energy, give yourself an F, what have you been all this time you laggard ?

I agree, Stanley..We have given it our all and have checked the list twice and even bought more than what we figured on. We are exhausted, we are burnt out, we are so sick of y2k. I am so tired of thinking "next year, lets take a trip to Australia", and then thinking, "yeah, right!". I am ready to meet it head on. Roll the dice and lets see what we get. This limbo is going to kill me soon. If I have to go back to oil lamps and hoeing the corn, so be it. I just WANT TO KNOW!!! Do we plan a vacation next summer or do we plan on canning our produce and enlarging the garden? Will we buy our winter's hay for our 8 mini donkeys, or do we have to shoot them because there is no feed? I am sick to death of not knowing and trying to plan for every which way this damn thing could run.

taz,

you really hit the nail on the head. we WISH we had a crystal ball right now to know where we're going from here. but we dont. many of us, i believe, are truly burned out by all of this.

BUT! its certainly no time to slack off the preps. i certainly wish everyone the best of luck for next year, no matter what side of the doomer/polly you are on.

if you find that crstal ball .. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Taz, If you need a place for one of your mini-donkeys... I'd be glad to help out! (Love those beautiful creatures, been dreamin' of having one for many a year!) Anyway... don't shoot 'em. Buy the feed!!! Please.
