The radio announcer said Clinton said "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine," regarding Y2K. I don't know about you, but I have a real sick feeling that the SIGTHTF before the end of the year. I don't think it's going to be a bump in the road, but a real bumpy ride.

It was always going to be a bumpy ride. To think that the disconnect has lasted this long!!! Wow. Going to Wal*Mart's today. Last night spent $100 on food in Publix. I looked like a holiday shopper-- getting fruit caske and candied yams!!!!

I think you are right, Judy. The only problem with that is that I've been wrong about everything so far (ha ha?!?) When 68% of 14,000 polled say they plan on buying 7 to 14 days worth of food at the very end of Dec'99 then I think there MAY be a problem. Its pretty obvious that the sleeping pill which looks like the television set in everyone's home has had its intended consequences. Now for the untended...
