Anyone collating various kinds of info?

The latest refinery fire posting and comments makes me wonder... is anyone collecting and collating various types of information? Such as: Money spent by various banks and other corporations for remediation; Airlines which have decided not to fly over the CDC: Resignations of various government and industry department heads, CEOs and IT directors, etc.; and of course refinery fires and the like.

I should have started doing this a year ago as they went by, but didn't think of it then. I don't have the time (and probably not the stamina) to search all of Gary North now. Did anyone else have more foresight?

Here's a report I found useful, on business and government compliance:

Amen, I say, amen ..... There's something about the "thread" format of a bulletin board that seems to work against "comparative" thought. More than once I've wished one of the expert linkmasters or regulars who contribute to this forum had the time to categorize news posts about breakdowns according to the affected industry! Refinery fires; bank glitches; airplanes falling from the sky ....It's late for all that, perhaps, but frequently reading through pollyposts or, e.g., the recent vacillations of Mr. Dale Way [No Way! Yes, Way!, No Way!] of the IEEE it would be useful to be able to click onone or two threads giving a list of failures continually updated with the latest events. One tends to forget, and lately the posts come so fast and furious, and it grows even more obvious that new posters are not reading what's been posted a dozen or more threads earlier .... etc.
