Editing Returned Pages

greenspun.com : LUSENET : S-Mart Shopping Cart : One Thread

OK, now I'm cooking.... got script loaded, rights/priviledges correct, products entered, and it's working! I can take a 3hr project and stretch it for days.

Now I'd like to modify the pages returned by the script when you add an item, modify the cart, and place the order (including relaying out the order form). I understand html, but when I look at S-Mart.cgi (I assume that's where the returned pages are generated), I'm totally lost. Is there an easy way to get what I want the page to look like into the script, or is it more complex?

Also, if I use the smartadmin.cgi to add my products, can I use my unique part numbers, or does it have to sequentially add from the first one entered?

Thanks, Ray Gardner SKG Marketing Associates

You can use your own unique part numbers. It will not affect the program.

God bless!
