Pakistan Airline Says Is Y2K-Complianthttp://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/19991108/tc/airlines_pakistan_1.html
Quote:
"n a statement Monday PIA said it had informed the Defense Ministry, which controls the airline, and the International Civil Aviation Organization ``of having successfully tested its fleet for Y2K compliance''. ``The management has, therefore, decided in principle to operate its scheduled flights on December 31, 1999 and January 1, 2000,'' the statement said."
So PIA seems to have enough bookings for flights during the rollover, but bigger, newer airlines just cant get enough bookings so they cancel?. Didnt know Pakistanis where such big New Years Eve fliers.
