Well, that's just great. I've done all of my preps and didn't think to get a rubber raft.

Maybe Nov 11th? ... That's when we go through an unexpected debris field ... Let's all wear our tin hats! ... LOL

A surprise November meteor shower?

No, no, no!! I remember this prediction. Somebody on this site about 2 weeks ago said we'd get hit by a major meteor today, either in Canada or the Atlantic. ....Still looking for the meteor...or asteroid...or whatever...

Don't confuse the two names!

The link above is for a NEW meteor shower, and IS for NOV 11.

But, there is the regular LEONID meteor shower scheduled for NOV. 17/99. The name, of course, refers to the constellation area from where the shower appears to come.

www.enterprisemission.com.....X marks the spot!....There's a rock coming and we can't do anything about it!.....It's still coming!

If you read the "investigation" on the three meteors potentially hitting the Atlantic was indeed supposed to hit today. The same organization Enterprise Mission" backed off the prediction earlier this week claiming the spots on the eclipse photo were more than likely caused by flash from photography. The analysis seemed to have a little consipiracy and magic numbers. Seemed on the original to fail the smell test.

The expert from Europe does claim that we are due for a large meteor in the next hundred years. At any time.

I did see a shooting star tonight. Just about 1/2 hour ago. It was pretty..and I made a wish. I forgot about that meteor hitting the earth today thing, thank goodness, or it would have scared the sh*t out of me!!

Yes, there was definitely a rumour REPEATED here (not made by any regular) that we'd be hit with an asteroid on 11/5 or 6.

That kind of prediction is almost always wrong --- to bad Y2K problems are a complete opposite of that type of prediction.

Try again. Please post ONE y2k prediction that has come true to date.
