I am interested in obtaining info on Jane Victoria Burris married to John Moses Smith December 31,1874. I have been unable to find any info on her parents. John and Jane were married in Big Lick in Sanly County. Many Thanks for any help.

Jane Victoria BURRIS was the daughter of Solomon BURRIS and Malinda Faraby HATHCOCK. Solomon was raised by Solomon BURRIS Sr., and he took the BURRIS name. His real surname is MURRAY. I have not been able to determine for sure who Solomon MURRAY/BURRIS's parents were. Malinda Faraby HATHCOCK was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin HATHCOCK Jr. and Nancy Ann BURRIS. Solomon MURRAY/BURRIS had a child with Judy COLEY HATHCOCK, widow of Lee HATHCOCK. This child was Mack Luther HAITHCOCK, my Great Grandfather.
