I used to enjoy trolling this place, and posting facts mixed with rumors to create hysteria, but not anymore.

Especially since I learned that this forum has become a database of sorts for government agents to troll and bait those with militia mentalities, any stated gun owners, those with politically incorrect views, etc.

So many of the regulars, that dropped off the forum in the past few months are the smart ones. The rest of you that continue to post here are just suckers that are feeding government agent trolls what they want to hear. Those of you left, that are legitimate, should drop out while you can.

In the past I have had people attempting to respond to a post by asking me a question, only to have me not respond. I don't because I log off the public site and move to another location. Sometimes I don't get back for days. SYSOPS here are nothing more than government stooges and they aren't even aware of it. If you are still posting here regularly from your personal computer...you have my sympathy and pity.

Actually, troll or no, there's some truth to what he says. Decker, shill extraordinaire, asks for advice on a high-powered hunting rifle (to shoot cape buffalo, don't you know) and people fall over themselves obliging. Another asterisk next to your ISP/name--*"weapons expertise/owns high-powered rifle." They throw chum in the water, and see what comes up to bite. I think confusing a forum with government inspired plots is excessive. But as a unbiased Canadian it does amaze me that folks will post what they do considering that it remains on record for eternity as it were.

Usenet though is far more vulnerable than this forum due to the search abilities of Deja News. I showed that to a buddy (a musician) and he turned white. 6 yrs. of postings that can be referanced in many ways.

And I wonder how many folks know that.

Is this forum going to the emotionally-diminished, or what? The last few days, there has been bizarre post after bizarre post from people we've never seen on this forum, spouting near gibberish. Hand this guy a piece of paranoia pie. Maybe his manners are better than his posts and he won't talk with his mouth full. I'm not a doomer or a polly, just someone who follows that old adage, "prepare for the worst, hope for the best." I want my old forum back!
