I know the intiative passed but I would like to know how this is going to effect small businesses?

Well, taxes are taxes. The second provision of the initiative, ie the veto power of the people over tax increases will affect small business the most. It can be assumed that if the legislature wants to impose a new tax that affects small business, it now has to be voted in by the people.

Stephanie, Small businesses will pay $30.00 for their license tabs an be able to afford newer vehicles that cost less to operate. And if the businesse are there to serve the public and not the government exclusively they will see an increase in business
